Transneft Energy has held a series of seminars and presentations for industrial companies of Volgograd, Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod Regions on managing electricity costs at an industrial enterprise.
The events were held at regional industrial and commercial chambers.
During the presentation, Transneft Energy’s experts told the companies’ representatives in detail about the factors of reducing energy costs and how to manage these factors and effectively administer energy supply.
The participants received full information on selection of the optimal price category, purchase of electricity from the region’s retail generation and purchase of electricity (capacity) in the wholesale market, optimisation of the consumption profile, and management of electricity demand.
The experts also analysed the problem of unaccounted electricity consumption at companies and talked about necessary measures to minimise risks of penalties, resolve incidents at facilities and protect consumer rights.
A separate topic of the presentation was devoted to minimising the loss of profits in energy supply. Transneft Energy presented its own developments, which are automated information systems that allow a company to provide a wide range of additional services under an energy supply contract.
“Today, it’s not enough for an independent energy sales company to simply sell electricity. We are ready to help our partners and colleagues in related activities. We present solutions and cases that have already provided a positive economic effect to our customers and can be useful for industrial companies in regions,” said Kirill Yuryev, Head of External Client Relations at Transneft Energy.
Basic needs of power engineers of regional companies were identified according to the results of a dialogue with the seminar participants. The companies will receive Transneft Energy's commercial offers for the supply of electricity (power), which will be prepared individually, taking into account the data provided for the calculations.
