Two of Transneft Service Entities Pass the Energy Management System Audits

Transneftenergo Energy Efficiency Service provided methodological support to service entities of Transneft system in compiling of documents of the energy management system (EnMS) as well as the advisory support of EnMS implementation.

For instance, EnMS of Tomsk Plant of Electric Drives (TOMZEL) and Svyaztransneft were certified this year. It is for the first time that the entities obtained the certificates of conformity of the energy management system to ISO 50001. This Standard establishes the requirements to EnMS Transneft has been using since 2012. The audit was conducted by a global firm of DQS.

Transneftenergo administers and holds internal EnMS audits and supports external EnMS audits. At present, 19 entities of Transneft system obtained the certificates of conformity to ISO 50001.

To improve this process, in 2017 Transneftenergo reworked the automatic system of the Department Energy Supervision Divisions (AS DESS) and created the corporate resource, EnMS Electronic Library, which enables to gain general access to EnMS documents and to description of implementation of energy efficiency solutions in Transneft entities.

According to the Action Plan to implement EnMS in Transneft service entities, by the end of 2017 three more service entities are to be certified: Transneft Oil Pumps, Transneft Terminal, and TransneftEnergosetService.
